Trade waters trickle in...

The first two post-Olympic trade have happened, though they have hardly broken the flood gates open.

  1. The Blue Jackets shipping defenseman Cale Hulse, to the Calgary Flames, for tough guy Cam Severson.
  2. The Atlanta Thrashers have acquired forward Joel Stepp from the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in exchange for goaltender Jani Hurme.

UPDATES
Owen Nolan sweepstakes are over as the big winger has decided he won't try to come back this season to the NHL because his surgically-repaired knee isn't yet 100 per cent.
